Motel 8 Willcox

Very pleasantly surprised. Well kept, extremely clean and the management was very pleasant to deal with. You always have concerns when you come to a motel like this. I would highly recommend this place.

After a very long drive I checked in late at night. I had no reservation and the gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating and sympathetic. The price was reasonable after checking rates in Tucson and I was very grateful for a clean, secure, comfortable room and a good rate. Thank you!

I'm so grateful to have stayed here. The owners are incredibly kind and attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it to everyone. They'll make things easy for you if you're staying longer, and the prices are affordable for all. Blessings to the owners!

No need to force yourself to keep driving when there are places like this to stop. The service was great, room was very clean and there was fast wifi. Which is nice when the service isn't great in the area. Definitely recommend

We arrived late and the owner greeted us in a friendly and informative way. The premises were very clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and well appointed. I liked that the building was older with period millwork (no MDF to be found) and decorations. Unlike a lot of places we have stayed, the room was warm when we entered. Even though it had a small fridge (as most do), there was a separate freezer compartment , not just an ice cube tray at the top of the fridge section. And my favorite way of sensing quality, a soft close toilet seat .

I knew booking here that it was a privately owned hotel. I knew it was old. That being said the room was very clean. The staff was very accommodating. Fact is, I had a blowout the previous day and was towed to a shop here in town. They were late to come pick me up. I had to check out at 11, so I went to the front office and they told me I could go back to my room and wait until the people got there. Very helpful. Very polite. I am thankful that I stayed here.

I've now stayed here twice during the fall for up to 8 days at a stretch. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. My wife and I will usually stay at a Motel 6 during other travels because of our pet but there is no comparison between a Motel 6 and this motel. This motel has better rates, has more room space, and far more comfortable beds and is quiet. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. This was a great location for a last minute stay in the area. We watched Sandhill cranes fly in at sunset, and decided to stay to see them at sunrise as well. We were out of the room in a hurry in the morning to catch the cranes taking off. I realized later that morning that I was missing my favorite necklace. I rang the hotel, but housekeeping didn't see it in the room. I had accepted that it was lost somewhere in the desert. However, a couple days later, I received a phone call from Motel 8, asking for a description of a necklace they had found in the laundry. The owner/staff was so very kind to mail it back to me in Washington state, as we had returned home from vacation. I am extremely grateful for this act that went above and beyond expectations. Our room was clean, comfortable, with a nice shower and lovely air conditioning. Although we didn't have time to hang out, the pool looked very inviting.
